I have finally gotten around to updating the blog ‘In Search Of The ‘Original’ King Arthur’. In now includes most of the new material from the upcoming ebook. I can’t include all the material as it would make the blogs way too long … and some of them are now very long as it is. I will, eventually, attach PDF chapters from the book to some blog to augment them.
The multi part blog looks at all of the known historical Arthurs from the 6th and 7th centuries (and the 2nd) and explores if any of these were the ‘original’ Arthur, were named after an ‘original’ be he historical or mythical, or could have added to the Arthurian legend.

I note there is a crowd of archetypes that all historical Celtic leaders play to from Arthur to Mordred.

Could you expand on that Alex?

The Celtic equivalents to Apollo, Mercury, Mars and Hades will play out in any Celtic hero story.
